These Terms cover the website only. Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement, which prevails over these Terms if the two conflict.
Everything on this site — including our articles, series, frameworks, case studies, diagrams and descriptions of products and platforms — is provided for general information about our work and the field we work in.
Decibel Labs is a technology and infrastructure company. It holds a DIFC commercial licence (no. CL9569). It is not authorised or regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, or any other financial services or virtual asset regulator, in the UAE or elsewhere.
We do not issue, offer, arrange, advise on, deal in, custody or manage securities, virtual assets or other financial products, and we do not accept client money or assets. Where a solution we build involves a regulated activity, that activity is carried out by an appropriately licensed institution — typically our client or its partner — under its own licence and responsibility.
You may use this site for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You must not:

The content of this site — including the text, the Asset State Series and our other series, our frameworks and methods, diagrams, graphics, design and code — is owned by Decibel Labs or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The names and marks Decibel Labs, Rihla, Cépage and Daftar, and our logo, are ours; nothing on the site grants you a licence to use them.
You may view the site, share links to it, print or save a page for your own reference, and quote short extracts for commentary or discussion, provided you credit Decibel Labs and link to the source. Access to our product demonstrations is granted on request, for the purpose of evaluating our work. Demo links are personal to the person we send them to. Please do not share, download, record or republish them. We may withdraw access at any time. Demonstrations show how our products work in a demonstration environment; they are not live services and do not represent any offer of the assets shown in them.
When you submit a form or write to us, you confirm that what you send is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. We handle personal data in line with our privacy policy.
Sending us information through this site does not create a client relationship, and does not create any obligation of confidentiality on our part. If you need to share confidential information, tell us first so that we can agree a confidentiality arrangement before you send it.
The site may refer to, or link to, third-party organisations, platforms and websites. Those references do not mean that the third party endorses us, or that we endorse it. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

You agree to compensate Decibel Labs for any loss, liability or reasonable cost it incurs as a result of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. The version in force when you use the site is the one that applies.
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or with this website (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre. The Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues in full effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not waived it. These Terms, together with our privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the site. They are written in English; if they are translated, the English version prevails.
