This website is operated by Decibel Labs Tech Ltd (“Decibel Labs”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy, and we handle it in accordance with the DIFC Data Protection Law (DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020) and its regulations.

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or use its forms, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It does not cover third-party websites we link to; those have their own policies.
If you work with us under a contract, the contract and any data processing terms in it govern the personal data exchanged in that relationship.
You can read every page of this site without telling us who you are. We collect personal data in two ways only.

Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through a form. If a conversation needs it, we will agree a suitable channel and, where appropriate, a confidentiality agreement first.
Like every website, ours is delivered by servers that receive technical information from your browser in order to send you the page — your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse. We do not use it to profile you, and we do not run analytics or advertising tools on this site.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not add you to any list you did not ask to join.
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run this website and answer you, and only to the extent they need it. Each processes it under its own terms and data protection commitments:
If our form endpoint is unavailable, your browser instead opens a pre-filled email in your own email program; that message is sent by your email provider under its own terms.
When you open a demo link we send you, the video is served by the service that hosts it, under that service's own terms.
We may also disclose personal data to our professional advisers, where required by law or by a competent court or authority, or to a buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold — in which case this policy continues to protect it.
Our service providers operate outside the DIFC, including in India, the United States and across Cloudflare's global network. Where personal data is transferred to a jurisdiction that the DIFC Commissioner of Data Protection has not recognised as providing adequate protection, we rely on the appropriate safeguards the DIFC Data Protection Law permits, such as standard contractual clauses in our providers' data processing terms. You can ask us for more detail on these safeguards.
We may keep data longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
This site does not set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not use cookies to remember you between visits. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to distinguish people from automated traffic; it is not used to identify you or to follow you across other sites. Because we use no non-essential cookies, there is no cookie banner.
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form submissions are sent directly to our mailbox and are not stored in a website database. Access to our mailbox is limited to the people at Decibel Labs who need it to answer you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold.

To unsubscribe from series updates, reply to any of those emails or write to us at the same address.
This website is intended for professionals and institutions. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We will update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use data we already hold, we will tell the people concerned before it takes effect.
